and here comes the answer: Nokia partners with Microsoft

  • Nokia will adopt Microsoft's Windows Phone as its choice smartphone platform
  • Every Nokia cell phone will have Bing as its default search engine
  • In exchange, Nokia will provide Microsoft with mapping software and carrier billing
